Product Design Leadership Opportunity

Join us in shaping the future of product design by leading a team of talented designers.

As a Senior Director of Product Design, you will drive the design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across internal and external applications. You'll lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy - Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI, UX, and product design.
  • Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy - Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a track record of using data to inform design decisions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, operations, and internal sales/consulting teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Previous experience working on AI-powered products and/or curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape and its impact on design and user experience.
