Supply Chain Manager

A seasoned supply chain professional is sought to spearhead operational excellence, driving process improvement, cost control, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced pharmaceutical industry environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. SOP Development & Process Compliance
  • Draft, review, and update SOPs aligned with cGMP and internal standards to ensure operational procedures meet regulatory requirements and enhance audit preparedness.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement and implement changes to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  1. Continuous Improvement (CI) & Project Management
  • Lead CI projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization in procurement, logistics, and warehousing to minimize SCM costs.
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to address root causes and drive measurable improvements.
  1. Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze and report on core supply chain KPIs (lead time, OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance) to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Build dashboards and advanced analytical reports using Excel or other relevant tools to visualize data and trends.
  1. Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Support the procurement of APIs, excipients, and packaging materials, ensuring quality compliance and timely material availability.
  • Drive vendor evaluation, qualification, and effective supplier management.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with QA, QC, Production, and Planning teams to ensure seamless batch scheduling and material flow.
  • Support audits with accurate documentation and supply chain evidence.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in pharmaceutical supply chain or similar regulated industry.
  • Education: B Tech/ B. Pharma or MBA (in Supply Chain Operations preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma certification beneficial.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
