DBA Performance Tuning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a strong background in performance tuning and optimization to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support ongoing database operations, including performance monitoring, query optimization, code deployments, access management, and database analysis.
  • Operate in Oracle and Exadata databases, re-platforming efforts, creating database objects, investigating performance issues, and monitoring data retention.
  • Collaborate closely with data architects, data analysts, and database owners to support both short-term work requests and long-term strategy implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of logical and physical DBA experience, including experience in Oracle Exadata.
  • Extensive working knowledge of all aspects of Database Data Movement and Processing, including Golden Gate and Informatica ETL.
  • Familiarity with JIRA workflow processes and agile methodology.
  • Working experience with TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to convey findings and recommendations to large groups.
