Job Description

As a Senior Java/Full Stack Developer at Vitrana, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality cloud applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. You will work closely with our talented software team to build products, platforms, and solutions in an agile mode.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze User Requirements: Identify and analyze user requirements to design effective solutions.
  • Write Efficient Code: Write well-designed, efficient code that meets quality metrics, open-source software usage, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct Unit Testing: Conduct unit testing using automated frameworks to ensure code quality.
  • Prioritize Tasks: Prioritize, assign, and execute tasks throughout development sprints.
  • Coding Standards: Adhere to coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.
  • Code Review: Review, test, and debug team members' code.
  • Schedule Releases: Schedule product releases with internal teams.
  • Documentation: Document development phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in building microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
  • Hands-on experience in Angular 2+ framework/UI development is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of API gateways like Apigee is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Core Java (Collections, Threads, Regular Expressions, Exception handling).
  • Good knowledge of coding standards, design patterns, and unit testing.
  • Experience with TDD and CI/CD practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of JMS environment and hands-on experience in Rabbit MQ / Active MQ / Kafka.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, Oracle or PostgreSQL database is preferred.
  • A strong background culture of delivering projects with first-time right/zero defects in production.
