Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is developing cutting-edge automated driving systems for global deployment. As part of the JLR ADAS team, you will support the development of future ADAS system generations, which will see our vehicles advancing to full autonomous driving by 2030.

In order to achieve this vision, JLR is working on specific software functionalities developments that aim to build in-house software modules to maximize component reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Undertake a variety of tasks and work in a multiple-disciplinary team, mentoring junior SW engineers, and clearly communicating findings through presentations and reporting.">
  • Understand requirements and create high-level designs, decomposing them into detailed designs.">
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.">
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives, creating detailed designs and supporting their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.">
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.">
  • Excellent communication skills and liaise with wider global teams within JLR.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in application design and development.">
  • Should have worked in a complex automotive project, owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation.">
  • Experience in design and development of software solutions in AUTOSAR.">
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++.">
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process.">
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms.">
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack.">
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.">
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.">
  • Good understanding of ISO26262.">
