Job Description

The Chief Technology Risk Auditor is responsible for supporting the Internal Audit Team in developing an annual audit plan that covers the entire organization. The successful candidate will follow the Internal Audit methodology and contribute to its maintenance and improvement from time to time.

The role involves building the profile of the team within the organization, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly those in India, and working with Audit Teams in other locations to support global coverage and independence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in completing or contributing to IA fieldwork and reporting as required, including standalone reviews, global reviews, or multiple jurisdictions reviews. They will also provide constructive recommendations focused on internal control and value-added recommendations to help the business achieve its objectives.

The Chief Technology Risk Auditor will be responsible for preparing clear, concise, and timely audit reports, supporting the oversight of co-source IA activity in India when applicable, and initiating new audits by engaging management, drafting audit Terms of Reference (Scope), and seeking executive/management approval to commence each review.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Five plus years of relevant experience in an Internal Audit environment, including IT technology audit, within a professional services firm or a financial services context.
  • Experience working for a multinational would be desirable but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder management experience, and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of technology internal controls and a desire to deliver quality audit outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members in different locations.
  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to information technology, such as CISA.
