Job Overview:

  • This position provides technical support and maintenance services for a leading financial institution's cash management system.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and configuration across the bank's banking arm and securities business under a dual-hat arrangement.
  • Support UK hours as required, participate in overnight support rota and weekend work.
  • Document technical requirements or processes to capture the configuration being performed.
  • Support and test technical systems/servers.
  • Work with third-party software providers and adhere to pre-defined application standards.
  • Apply industry experience and ensure solutions incorporate 'best practice'.
  • Collaborate with neighbouring technology and project teams to ensure changes are rolled out in a coordinated manner.
  • Provide post-live support and assist with remediation where necessary.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience with vendor application 'Cash Management (CMS) ver 4', Control process Designer, Smart Schema, and 'Smartstream Recs'.
  • Excellent communication skills, familiar with Change Requests, and Unix/database/application teams.
  • Control M' application knowledge, jobs creation, administration, alerting, file move, file watchers, json, etc.
  • Oracle 19 SQL scripting and oracle database concepts.
  • Linux shell scripting and support.
  • Ability to package up and manage configuration/code changes into releases.
  • Jboss 8 server knowledge, configuration and support.
  • Github software management and Automated deployment via CI/CD pipeline.

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritise own workload and drive results.
