Job Summary

The role of Controls Testing Lead involves providing critical support to the development of testing methodology for key controls across the global business. This includes assurance activities over resiliency material and critical controls testing.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing controls testing plans, identifying and communicating gaps in controls, and monitoring their progress in line with risk management processes.

You will collaborate with other assurance functions across different lines of defense to ensure seamless communication and alignment. Your responsibilities will also include preparing draft reports reflecting the results of work performed, advising on appropriate solutions and remediation activities, and presenting results to senior management for buy-in and agreement.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team where you can utilize your skills and experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit. You will have a strong understanding of IT systems and operations and will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing controls testing plans
  • Communicating and agreeing upon gaps in controls
  • Monitoring control progress in line with risk management processes

You will work closely with other assurance functions to ensure effective communication and alignment. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Preparing draft reports reflecting the results of work performed
  • Advising on appropriate solutions and remediation activities
  • Ppresenting results to senior management for buy-in and agreement
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have strong oral and written communication skills, influencing skills, and gravitas to persuade senior management to adopt changes. You should also be able to work independently and proactively, with a commercial and pragmatic approach to governance and change.

Experience in scoping, executing, and reporting access management control testing is highly desirable.
