Senior Manager Job Description

 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet set targets.
  • Prioritize and organize work according to business priorities for optimal efficiency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the technical aspects of business processes to drive improvement.
  • Analyze process risks and ensure adequate controls are in place for maximum effectiveness.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders to discuss process-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve escalations efficiently.
  • Lead projects and tasks end-to-end, coordinating with onshore teams.
Resource Planning Strategy:
  • Forecast and plan resource requirements to minimize inefficiency.
  • Efficiently manage resources through peaks and troughs in the business cycle.
  • Establish contingency planning for critical resources to mitigate risk.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members and conduct regular progress reviews.
  • Support individuals in reaching their full potential through guidance and feedback.
  • Evaluate competency levels to ensure team members have the necessary expertise.
  • Proactively identify performance issues and develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Facilitate one-on-one and team meetings as per the Operational Engagement Framework.
  • Manage team attrition and absenteeism effectively.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from any field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • A good understanding of accounting and insurance principles is desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a senior manager leading a team of 15+ individuals.
