About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Management Specialist to join our Analytics Delivery Team at Moody's Analytics. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering risk analytics solutions to our customers, primarily for the PFaroe DB product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support client-facing technical activities in market risk and asset & liability modeling, with a focus on DB pensions.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks, including asset and risk valuations.
  • Gather and review daily market data, such as curves and indices.
  • Deliver portfolio valuations and client-facing activities within the Analytics Delivery Team.
  • Manage client portfolios, including booking portfolios and benchmarks, daily/monthly valuations, and rebalancing.
  • Assist senior team members in areas such as technical support, training, and automation of internal processes.
  • Support the team in maintaining and developing client relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or equivalent degree.
  • Knowledge of market risk and asset & liability modeling.
  • 7+ years of experience with a financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of various investment types, including fixed income, alternatives, derivatives, and equities.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, including discounted cashflow modeling and interest-rate modeling.
  • Proficiency in Excel with coding experience.
  • Certified CFA, FRM, PRM, or related professional qualification is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL, R, and Python coding.
  • Knowledge of UK regulations on financial instruments.
