Vice President of Risk Governance and Compliance
Job Description- Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk governance policies and procedures.
- Lead the risk management team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk monitoring and reporting.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in risk management.
- Design and implement risk control self-assessments (RCSA) and recovery resolution planning (RRP).
- Liaise with auditors and external assessors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive business continuity planning and information security initiatives.
- Maintain vendor governance processes to ensure due diligence.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or risk management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in risk management, operations, or audit.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving initiatives independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to report to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
- High degree of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with drive for continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in investment management operations, risk management, or audit is desirable.
- Relevant prior experience of participating in internal or external audits or exams is preferred.
- Ability to analyze root causes of risk incidents and implement control enhancements is highly valued.
