Job Title: Laravel Backend Developer

This is a high-profile position in our technology department. We are seeking an exceptional talent with strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities to drive the development of our web applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable backend systems using PHP and Laravel, as well as a solid understanding of database management with MySQL. Strong knowledge of API design and implementation is also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for user authentication, payments, and subscriptions using PHP and Laravel.
  • Database Management: Ensure data integrity and performance by managing complex databases with MySQL.
  • API Development: Build and implement APIs to power frontend, mobile apps, and third-party integrations.
  • Code Quality & Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support a reliable SaaS product.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the small, cross-functional team (frontend, product, and operations) to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of backend development experience, preferably in a SaaS startup or small team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP and Laravel for backend development, strong knowledge of MySQL for database management, and hands-on experience with building and managing APIs.
  • Mindset: Startup mentality: adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks. Customer-focused approach with a strong problem-solving mindset.
