Study Abroad Counselor Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Study Abroad Counselor to guide students in pursuing higher education abroad. This role involves providing personalized counseling, assisting with admissions and visa processes, and ensuring high student satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess student goals, background, and eligibility.
  • Advise students on suitable universities, courses, countries, scholarships, and application strategies.
  • Support students throughout the admission process, including application filing, documentation, and fee payments.
  • Guide students and parents through the visa process, preparing them for interviews and document collection.
  • Coordinate with university representatives, internal teams, and embassy/visa offices as needed.
  • Maintain accurate student records and provide timely reports.
  • Meet targets related to applications, offers, and conversions.
  • Stay updated with international education trends and maintain relationships with partner universities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with English proficiency required.
  • Empathetic listener and persuasive communicator.
  • Knowledge of the international education landscape.
  • Organized, target-driven, and self-motivated individual.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office, and email communication.
