Job Description:

As a Central Flow Lead, you will be responsible for managing volume and workflow of multiple Fulfillment Centers from a remote centralized location.

This role requires the ability to work a mandatory night shift schedule and, if necessary, odd or long hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the workflow of orders across multiple processes.
  • Ensure customer experience while minimizing fulfillment costs across multiple Fulfillment Centers.
  • Communicate workflow status with Operations Managers and Area Managers and escalate any Customer Experience risk, SLA failure risk, or deviation from Standard Work.
  • Provide advisory services to Fulfillment Center operations and senior operations teams based on their holistic view of workflow throughout the center.
  • Facilitate communication between multiple areas of operation.
  • Collaborate with the Amazon Fulfillment Technology team to develop advanced automated flow control systems for Fulfillment Center operations.
  • Manage flow settings for multiple process paths in outbound operations for multiple Fulfillment Centers based on shift plans.
  • Understand responsibilities boundaries between Operations on the floor and Central Flow as dictated by Standard Work developed by Central Flow Management.
  • Execute outbound flow operations and communicate Customer Experience risks and performance opportunities to Fulfillment Center operations in a standardized manner.
  • Develop and execute shift plans based on Fulfillment Center operational requirements and adjust as variables change.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
