Cloud Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects related to our cloud environments. This role combines project management, systems administration oversight, and client-facing responsibilities.

The successful candidate will oversee cross-functional projects, manage cloud-focused teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients. They will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale cloud deployments and hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructures. They should have strong organizational and time-management abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage technical teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading cloud infrastructure projects using Agile/Scrum or traditional methodologies
  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile principles
  • Overseeing projects end-to-end, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Defining project scopes, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients
  • Tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years in systems administration, with at least 3 years managing AWS environments
  • 4+ years in project management or Scrum Master roles in IT or cloud-based environments
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience, including requirements gathering and solution delivery
  • 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience

Technical skills required include:

  • Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration
  • Understanding of cloud security practices and monitoring tools (SIEM)

Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
