Electrical Engineering Lead Role

  • Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies to enhance vehicle performance, quality, and functionality.
  • Supervise the design of electrical and electromechanical components, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and weight targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to layout and package parts in vehicle DMUs from concept stage, considering manufacturability and functionality.
  • Ensure quality in the design and development process through design reviews, FMEA, and other tools.
  • Define performance and reliability test parameters and procedures for components.
  • Benchmark global trends in relevant technology and develop long-term road maps and work plans.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues using QC tools and implement countermeasure actions.
  • Manage project activity schedules, monitor progress, and take necessary actions to ensure targeted deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Technical/Functional Knowledge: Electromechanical systems in vehicles, product lifecycle management, ISO/TS standards for design, environment, information security, and functional safety.
  • Design knowledge in automotive electromagnetics components, 2D and 3D design tools like UG NX and PLM tools like Team Centre.
  • Ability to solve novel, difficult design problems with tight timing constraints.
