Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in creating/updating components specification sheets and part/assembly 3D CAD models.

About the Role:

  • Create/update components specification sheets and part/assembly 3D CAD models with high accuracy and precision.
  • Prepare part/assembly drawings as per given standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams for ECN and ECO activities, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Participate in design reviews and design optimization activities, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Perform any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by management, utilizing mechanical engineering skills to drive business success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/mechatronics or related field with a minimum experience of 2 years.
  • Possess a master's degree for advanced opportunities.
  • Be comfortable working with US-based timings, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Necessary Skills:

  • Proficient in SolidWorks with hands-on experience in creating complex parts and assemblies.
  • Familiarity with sheet metals, machined, and plastic parts, understanding their characteristics and applications.
  • Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes, including casting, forging, and machining.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), presenting ideas effectively and clearly.
  • Able to work with Microsoft tools - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, using them to analyze data and create engaging presentations.
  • Able to thrive in an agile environment with limited supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic understanding of GD&T & Tolerance stack up, applying principles to ensure precise designs.
  • Familiarity with FMEA, identifying potential failures and implementing corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of design life cycle management tools e.g. Windchill/PLM, streamlining product development and maintenance.
