Job Role and Responsibilities

The primary objective of this Backend Engineer role is to contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of our company's platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing scalable software solutions for our microservices backend;
  • Maintaining and improving existing infrastructure, tools, and workflows;
  • Ensuring quality software delivery through automated testing, performance analysis, and optimization;
  • Exploring and recommending innovative approaches to improve platform performance and scalability;

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from a reputable institution;
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer in Python;
  • A strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, with expertise in data modeling and schema design;
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including migration and deployment strategies;
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs, message queues, and event-driven systems;
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in CI/CD environments, such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins;
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code development, using Terraform or CloudFormation;
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
