Piping engineers play a vital role in the development, implementation and management of piping systems for various energy projects.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Create and develop piping systems that meet industry standards and regulations
  • Analyze technical specifications to determine suitable piping solutions
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation
  • Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems
  • Review and approve vendor documents and drawings
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the design, construction, or operation phases
\Requirements:\
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy sector
  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards (ASME, ANSI, API)
  • Proficiency in using piping design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Familiarity with stress analysis software (CAESAR II, ANSYS)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Professional engineering license is preferred
