Accounting Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting specialist to join our team. As an integral part of the organization, you will play a crucial role in preparing financial reports, account reconciliations, and journal entries.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting:

    1. Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information.
    2. Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    Account Management:

    1. Maintain and balance automated consolidation systems by inputting data.
    2. Develop spreadsheet reports to analyze information and options.

    General Ledger Management:

    1. Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files.
    2. Reconcile accounts and prepare payments by accruing expenses.

  • Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Strong analytic abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • High degree of attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills.
    • Associates degree in accounting, bachelor's degree preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in general staff accounting.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
    • Workday experience a plus.
