Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Science leader to spearhead the development of cutting-edge NLP models for mortgage-specific applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP, with expertise in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize state-of-the-art NLP models for mortgage lending, focusing on pre-training and fine-tuning pre-trained LLMs.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to ensure outputs are relevant and actionable.
  • Experiment with different architectures and open-source models to identify the best fit for project requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of methodologies, experiments, and results to support transparency and reproducibility.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices by identifying potential biases in data and models, implementing strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems using data-driven approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for scalable computing solutions.
  • Understanding of ethical considerations in AI development, including bias detection and mitigation.
