Job Summary

Instrumentation Systems Designer

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Systems Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation design for water, wastewater, and desalination projects.

  • Create detailed designs for instrumentation systems using Revit and/or Plant 3D software.
  • Develop and modify technical drawings and models based on project requirements.
  • Manage work-sets and control visibility in Revit and/or Plant 3D models to ensure efficient collaboration with team members.
  • Utilize various parameters in Revit and/or Plant 3D families and schedules to optimize design processes.
  • Integrate specifications into models using Revit and/or Plant 3D, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university.
  • 7 - 10 Years of experience in wastewater/water industry.
  • Working Experience using Revit and/or Plant 3D and AutoCAD for water market-related designs.
  • Drafting course from a recognised institute.
  • Working experience using REVIT, AutoCAD and Microstation.
  • Professional registration in your designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation design for water, wastewater, and desalination projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water and wastewater instrumentation.
  • Experience with project management and coordination in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions.
  • Familiarity with equipment specifications and procurement processes for instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to team development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
