Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to design and build robust data pipelines for processing channel activity data from multiple sources. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with big data platforms like Hadoop and Terradata.

The selected individual will work on integrating and processing channel activity data from various digital channels, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. They will leverage Python for building automated data engineering solutions and data transformations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data ingestion and processing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and maintaining data pipelines for processing channel activity data from multiple sources.
  • Working on AWS cloud infrastructure and orchestration tools like Airflow to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Leveraging Python for building automated data engineering solutions and data transformations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data ingestion and processing.
  • Contributing to architecture decisions related to data lakes, data warehouses, and big data ecosystems.
  • Ensuring data quality, governance, and integrity across all data systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with Data Engineering: Proven experience working as a Data Engineer in greenfield environments.

Cloud Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with AWS technologies like EC2, S3, and Redshift.

Python: Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.

Big Data Platforms: Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Terradata.

Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data from different digital channels.
