Job Title: Cloud Data Architect

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Storage Solutions: Design and implement scalable, high-performance data storage systems using Azure SQL Database, Data Lake Storage, and Blob Storage.
  • Data Integration and Processing: Develop and manage ETL processes utilizing Azure Data Factory for efficient data cleaning, transformation, and loading into Data Lakes.
  • Big Data and Analytics: Leverage big data technologies like Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing and analytics. Create data processing workflows and pipelines to support business intelligence applications.
  • Data Pipeline Architecture: Construct and maintain data pipelines combining large, complex datasets that meet business requirements.
  • System Optimization and Monitoring: Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes to ensure data quality and system performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements, such as automating manual tasks and optimizing data delivery.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical issues and provide data-driven insights. Work with data experts to enhance data system functionality.
  • Machine Learning Applications: Partner with data scientists to create datasets for various use cases. Implement data curation techniques to enhance data readiness for machine learning applications.
Requirements
  • Data Management Skills: Proficient in designing and implementing data storage solutions using cloud-based services.
  • Programming Languages: Expertise in languages such as Python, Java, and C#.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Big Data Technologies: Knowledge of big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Database Systems: Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
