We're looking for talented individuals to join our observability team as Cloud Systems Engineers. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable systems, with a focus on cloud-native architecture and legacy maintenance.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure platforms and services are production-ready.
  • You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable systems, considering aspects such as fault tolerance, availability, and performance.
  • As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our technology stack, working closely with development teams to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow and develop their skills.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience working in a DevOps or SRE role, or software development, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud platforms GCP, AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting, with a focus on performance monitoring and tracing instrumentation, and SLI/SLO/SLAs.
  • Excellent communication skills across engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Nice To Have:

  • Passion for leading technical initiatives, influencing design decisions, and driving consensus across teams.
  • Experience gathering and balancing requirements from technical and business stakeholders, and reaching consensus on prioritization.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading code reviews.
