AEM Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AEM Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of AEM-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of AEM technology stack including CQ, Sling, OSGI, JCR, OAK. They will also be able to develop solutions using AEM building blocks including templates, components, sling models, OSGI services.

  • Develop and maintain core and custom components, templates in AEM.
  • Manage and optimize the Java Content Repository (JCR) and Apache Oak within AEM to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and management of content.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEMaaCS.
  • Experience in creating unit test cases using jUnit5 and Mokito.
  • Customize and extend AEM functionalities to meet business requirements.
  • Mentor and guide developers, providing technical leadership and support.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Good understanding on UI technologies like Query, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS is essential for this role. Should have an experience to create data layer.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of AEM architecture and its various modules.
  • Experience with CQ, Sling, OSGI, JCR, OAK.
  • Proficient in Java and JavaScript programming languages.
  • Good understanding of front-end development tools like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like jUnit5 and Mockito.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and provide technical leadership.
