Job Summary:

The Team Lead in our Subtitling Coordination team is responsible for managing a team of Localization Coordinators. They oversee scheduling, team utilization, performance monitoring, project management, and ensure their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise Localization Coordinators to meet team objectives.
  • Communicate expectations, goals, feedback, and resolve concerns or issues proactively.
  • Liaise with Translator Support teams to report linguist pool health and plan capacity for rare languages.
  • Identify and address conflicts early, facilitating discussions and finding solutions.
  • Be responsible for team morale, attrition, development, coaching, and communicate performance, feedback, and development areas.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and plan future activities.
  • Drive HR processes and policies within the team.
  • Be responsible for team productivity, volume management, leave planning, business continuity, and succession planning.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding project status and any issues that may impact deadlines.
  • Ensure process changes are shared clearly with the team.
  • Facilitate effective handovers across shifts.
  • Monitor email inboxes to ensure timely responses.
  • Address user payments in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with managers to absorb tasks during absences.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality of coordination and communication within the team.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree required.
  • Excellent English language proficiency.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen interest in the media industry preferred.
