Nephrology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Nephrologist to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Kolkata, India.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with kidney diseases. This includes diagnosing and managing acute and chronic kidney diseases, including dialysis and hemodialysis procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including dialysis and hemodialysis procedures.
  • Provide pre- and post-kidney transplant care in collaboration with transplant teams.
  • Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and long-term disease management.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Cardiology, Critical Care, Urology, Endocrinology, etc.
  • Participate in hospital CMEs, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs.

Requirements:

  • MBBS from a recognized medical college (mandatory).
  • MD (General Medicine) followed by DM (Nephrology) or equivalent DNB (Nephrology) from an NMC-recognized institute (mandatory).
  • Proven clinical expertise in dialysis, hemodialysis, and transplant nephrology.
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
  • Previous experience in a tertiary care hospital preferred (fresh DM/DNB graduates may also apply).
