Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team in production technology. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets using various tools and techniques.

The role involves working with BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Python to transform raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic business decisions across the organization.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop reports and data outputs to present key business metrics.
  • Write advanced SQL queries to analyze large datasets and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Use Python for advanced analytics, automation, and data processing tasks.
  • Work with BigQuery to build scalable analytical workflows in a cloud-based environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization techniques).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis toolpak, macros a plus).
  • Experience writing Python for data manipulation, automation, or visualization (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn).
  • Hands-on experience working with BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses and JSON data structures.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or other modern data tools.
  • Exposure to marketing or e-commerce industries.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time.
