Academic Leadership Position

The incumbent will lead the development and implementation of academic programs in film production, directing, screenwriting, and related fields.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Lead program reviews, assessments, and accreditations to ensure high-quality education.
Faculty and Staff Oversight:
  • Mentor and evaluate faculty and staff to promote professional growth and development.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive academic environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
Student Success:
  • Oversee student recruitment, admissions, and retention efforts to ensure student success.
  • Support students through mentorship and career counseling to prepare them for the film industry.
Industry Engagement:
  • Build partnerships with industry leaders, production houses, and film organizations to provide students with real-world opportunities.
  • Organize guest lectures, workshops, and networking events to connect students with professionals in the field.
Resource Management:
  • Manage resources to support the growth of the film program.
  • Oversee film studio operations, equipment procurement, and technology upgrades to maintain a state-of-the-art learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) is required. Proven experience in academic administration or operations is essential.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills are required, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with academic management software are necessary.
