Integration Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Integration Specialist to design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing message flows, ESQL, Java, and XSLT transformations for seamless data exchange, implementing REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and microservices using ACE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop integration solutions using ACE/IIB, focusing on enterprise-grade architecture and scalability.
  • ESQL and Java Coding: Develop high-quality ESQL and Java code for messaging flows, transformations, and API implementations.
  • Microservices Architecture: Implement microservices-based integrations using ACE, ensuring loose coupling and high cohesion.
  • API Gateway Configuration: Configure API gateways using IIB, enabling secure API access and data transformation.
  • Data Transformation: Develop XSLT transformations and other data mapping techniques to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Message Flow Development: Design and implement robust message flows using IIB, leveraging features like event-driven processing and messaging queues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ACE, IIB, Java, ESQL, XSLT, and related technologies is essential.
  • Software Development Life Cycle: Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification: IBM Certified Integration Developer (ACE/IIB) certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
