Community Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community building effort, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with local communities, creators, and contributors.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement community engagement strategies to grow our audience and foster meaningful connections with local communities.
  • Collaborate with creators and contributors to develop content that resonates with our audience and meets their interests.
  • Develop and manage online and offline events, workshops, and meetups that bring people together and promote community building.
  • Monitor and analyze community feedback and sentiment to inform future community development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in community management, social media, or cultural programming.
  • Strong understanding of community dynamics, social media trends, and digital tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences and contexts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and empathy.
