Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Technical Lead to lead our full-stack development team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing development teams and leading software projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of full-stack applications, ensuring high standards in quality, performance, and scalability.
- Establish best practices and frameworks for full-stack development, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and frameworks, and introduce improvements and innovations to the tech stack.
- Project Oversight:
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for development tasks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
- Hands-on Development:
- Contribute to the codebase, taking on complex development tasks, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Work on designing and implementing back-end services, front-end interfaces, and ensuring smooth data flow and system integration.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs, Graph QL, and data models for optimal performance.
- Operational Excellence:
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated testing, integration, and continuous deployment.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and testing protocols.
- Optimize development processes, tools, and workflows to increase productivity and quality.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of full-stack developers, providing guidance on technical solutions and best practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear goals, and support the professional growth of team members.
- Lead the hiring and onboarding process to grow the team with top talent.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of full-stack development experience, with at least 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing development teams and leading software projects from conception to completion.
- Technical Skills:
- Microservices: Understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Back-end: Strong proficiency with server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js etc.).
- Front-end: Experience with front-end frameworks like React/NextJS, Vue.js/Nuxt. or Angular
- Data Management: Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- API Development: Skilled in designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization.
