Job Opportunity: Performance AnalystKey Responsibilities
  • Utilize load generating tools to evaluate performance of custom services across various protocols.
  • Proven expertise in working with CI/CD environments and cloud-based infrastructures and applications using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Microservices, AWS cloud, and Oracle OCI is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in scripting and executing test scripts for performance testing.
  • Analyse Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and volumetric analysis to drive business decisions.
  • Knowledge of programming languages C, Java, VB macros, Basic SQL, and shell scripts for customizing scripts and automation processes.
  • A strong understanding of JAVA/JVM architecture, JVM, GC, Class loading, Thread dump, DB (Oracle and SQL server) analysis is required.
  • Expertise in monitoring and profiling app stack using APM tools such as HP Diagnostics, CA Wily, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics, along with in-depth analysis of server and application metric data.
  • Evaluate performance test results and highlight issues in technical and business language.

Additionally, experience with fiddler, firebug, HAR, Lighthouse will be an added advantage.

About the Role

This position involves analyzing performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implementing solutions to optimize system performance.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for evaluating the performance of custom services, developing strategies to improve performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of JAVA/JVM architecture, JVM, GC, Class loading, Thread dump, DB (Oracle and SQL server) analysis.
  • Experience with load generating tools, APM tools, and scripting languages.
Desirable Skills
  • Kubernetes, Microservices, AWS cloud, and Oracle OCI.
  • C, Java, VB macros, Basic SQL, and shell scripts.
  • fiddler, firebug, HAR, Lighthouse.
