Enterprise Architect Job Description

This role will ensure that technology investments align with business objectives to drive strategic and operational goals. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in technology design, implementation, and strategy.

The job involves balancing technical and business considerations to drive innovation and efficiency.

  • Strategic Involvement: Develop and manage the enterprise architecture framework, including technology, data, and security architecture.
  • Create a roadmap that aligns with business expectations and IT strategies.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on technology solutions to support growth and efficiency.
  • Ensure technological infrastructure supports long-term goals.
  • Technology Evaluation and Selection: Lead technology design and implementation projects and provide mentorship to other architects and technical leaders.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies to identify their impact on the enterprise architecture.
  • Governance and Standards: Establish and implement architectural standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure architecture decisions align with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Integration and Interoperability: Design and implement integration solutions for various enterprise systems.
  • Develop a framework for system interoperability that enhances operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Assess and mitigate architectural risks, including security, compliance, and reliability concerns.
  • Ensure architecture adheres to regulatory requirements and industry standard methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. 7+ years of proven ability in IT as an Enterprise Architect with expertise in handling large-scale, sophisticated projects & landscapes.
  3. Experience in supporting organizations in aligning business goals and organization strategies.
  4. Solid understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  5. Good interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Relevant architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) is preferred.
  2. Experience in working as a Enterprise Architect for a FMCG company.
  3. Experience in working with an EA Tool such as LeanIX, Ardoq, ABACUS etc.
