Key Treasury Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to oversee our cash and liquidity management operations. The successful candidate will have expertise in collateral management, financing agreements, margin methodologies, securities lending, and borrowing.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Margin Call Handling: Monitor and analyze short-term liquidity of funds, understanding the portfolio's financing structure and dynamics to efficiently identify causes for change in liquidity.
  • Margin Methodologies: Understand various margining methodologies of multiple agreements within a portfolio and track internal margin views.
  • Implementation and Onboarding: Handle end-to-end implementation of margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information. Perform client onboarding, gathering requirements, and showcasing our capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders' expectations by proactively identifying needs, articulating offering scope, escalating issues timely, and showcasing persuasiveness in bringing about changes.
  • Knowledge Enhancement: Continuously learn and enhance knowledge on the Client platform and industry, extending expertise beyond current areas.
  • Data Gathering and Analysis: Perform data gathering, GAP analysis, mapping, data transformation, loading, and reconciliation tasks in Client platforms as part of client implementations.
  • Technical Assistance: Collaborate with technology teams as needed, assisting in special projects, developing bespoke reports, developing specifications, product implementation, and UAT.
  • Treasury Operations Oversight: Oversee Treasury and Cash Management operations, ensuring optimal liquidity and funding strategies. Manage Collateral and Liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities.
  • Securities Lending: Support and coordinate securities lending transactions to maximize asset utilization and respond to Margin Calls accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Treasury with deep finance knowledge.
  • Expertise in collateral management, financing agreements, margin methodologies, securities lending, and borrowing.
  • Understanding of data sources like Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit for Treasury attributes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Knowledge of Margin Calls, Security Lending, and Treasury/Cash Management principles.
  • Proven project handling and process improvement record.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel. Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python is beneficial.
