Business Process Analyst Job Description

This role is instrumental in developing an automated business transactions tracking management process for customers using B2B portals in the MEA western region. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, scoping, and collaborating with IT teams to develop a Portal Platform that manages data requirements for Emerson customers in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer portals in the MEA Western region, mapping Emerson's data requirements to these portals. They will design innovative business process flows for each customer portal, enabling deployment on the Portal Management Platform to track real-time status of RFQs, orders, deliveries, goods receipts, invoicing, overdue payments, and final settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data and data flow requirements for each customer portal, coordinating across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle including planning, requirements definition, system design, and implementation.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each customer portal in the MEA Western region and map Emerson's data requirements to these portals.
  • Design innovative business process flows for each customer portal, enabling deployment on the Portal Management Platform.
  • Assist in phased testing and deployment of solutions around B2B portals management platform.
  • Generate timely and accurate updates of data to team members, including bi-weekly critical metrics on reports to customers and the management team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or other closely related fields.
  • 5-7 years of experience with Emerson.
  • Knowledgeable with Oracle ERP in various modules (SCM, Finance, Projects etc.).
  • Intermediate project management skills and presentation delivery.
  • Project Management Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)).
  • Understanding of Business Processes (Quote to Cash).
  • Proficient in analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
