Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist with a proven track record in both manual and automated testing to join our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, and database validation tests.
  • Develop a comprehensive QA process, procedures, and test approach that drive quality excellence throughout the organization.
  • Establish a robust test automation framework using Selenium and Java, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Utilize database querying skills across multiple query languages, such as SQL and BigQuery, to inform testing strategies and validate results.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in both manual and automated environments.
  • Proven proficiency in functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, negative, and database validation testing techniques.
  • Experience with big data technologies, including BigQuery, SQL, Java, and Selenium, is highly desirable.
  • The ability to write effective test approaches and acceptance criteria in Gherkin is essential.
  • Implementation and assessment of quality control measures are crucial aspects of this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ServiceNow and GPC platforms is a significant advantage.
  • CI/CD pipeline deployments and Groovy for test automation will be highly valued.
