We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our storage team.
- Lead and mentor a team of storage engineers in a data center environment.
- Monitor dashboard, alerts, incidents, and more.
- Ensure quality assurance and coordinate with teams on alerts.
- Maintain timely escalations and the escalation matrix.
- Coordinate with different teams on alerts and maintain monitoring scope and coverage.
- Help teams resolve technical issues and manage OEM escalations.
- Analyze and highlight gaps on a daily basis.
- Optimize storage alerts and segregate false, non-actionable, and actionable alerts.
- Participate in finding root cause analysis and writing postmortems of critical incidents.
- Additional initiatives to take DC Storage monitoring to the next level.
- At least 7 years of experience in the storage domain.
- Experience working with storages from various vendors, including IBM, NetApp, Hitachi, HPE, DELL EMC.
- Knowledge of Brocade SAN switches and overall storage architecture.
- Familiarity with storage monitoring tools, such as SANnav, stor2rrd, or Hitachi HyperOps.
- Basic knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing and experience troubleshooting SAN storage incidents.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Highly motivated and directed with attention to detail.
- ITIL or storage product certification preferred.
