The rapidly evolving landscape of technology has opened doors for a broader range of users to leverage its capabilities. We are currently seeking talented front-end engineers to contribute to our innovative NC-LC website building platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Power Pages team, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the new version of the product that enables citizen makers to create compelling web experiences. By incorporating user research studies and customer feedback into our Product Backlog daily, you will work closely with your peers, the Design team, and PM counterparts to bring these ideas to life.

Power Platform is a strategic growth area for Microsoft, and it has the potential to disrupt traditional approaches by providing 'citizen access' to a wider range of users within an enterprise. This technology enables the creation of next-generation business productivity software through simplified experiences that do not require extensive training. It is transforming careers of 'citizen developers,' making pro-developers more productive, and empowering IT teams to innovate at a pace that matches their business expectations.

To scale Power Platform to support millions of 'citizen developers,' we are investing in Power Portals – an early-stage product within the Power Platform suite used by customers to facilitate collaboration with both internal and external users. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to design applications for massive scales, reaching billions of users.

Job Description

We run cloud-based services and have experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with modern front-end technology frameworks and orchestration patterns is beneficial. You should be comfortable coding against services, databases, and building world-class user experiences.

  • Contribute to the design and evolution of a world-class user experience.
  • Investigate and prototype new technologies and frameworks using Power Platform components.
  • Take ownership of engineering design, implementation, and delivery of backlog-driven features.
  • Collaborate across the company to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences.
  • Focus on providing a trouble-free experience for users by ensuring availability, latency, scalability needs are addressed as part of software development and test automation.
  • Provide strong technical leadership within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for highly motivated and innovative engineers who can self-start and grow into SMEs or technical leaders in design and implementation for the next generation cloud platform capabilities we are building. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10 years of experience in software development and designing front-end applications to run at massive scale.
  • Experience with building Web Applications with TypeScript, Angular, or front-end technologies like Redux/React.
  • 10 years of solid experience in an OO Language like C# or Java.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent or 10+ years of industry experience.
