At Tejas Networks Limited, we are seeking a skilled Validation & Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a comprehensive automation framework. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and performance of our entire product portfolio.
We are responsible for creating customer documentation, delivering training solutions, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations such as TL9000 and TSEC. Our team fosters close collaboration with PLM, hardware, and software architects, sales, and customer account teams.
The successful candidate will work together with us to innovate and develop network deployment strategies for a broad range of networking products and software solutions.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain a robust automation framework for validating our entire product portfolio.
- Implement tools and techniques to automate test cases and regression suites.
- Utilize object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and multi-threading practices for efficient framework development.
- Develop and execute test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our products.
- Analyze test results, identify and troubleshoot issues, and contribute to bug resolution.
- Collaborate with technical writers to create comprehensive user documentation for our products.
- Develop and deliver training solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant technical certifications like TL9000 and TSEC.
- Implement processes and procedures to ensure product development adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with other engineering teams, sales, and customer accounts to identify opportunities for network deployment innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation framework or tools development, with extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Python.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (B.Tech., M.Tech preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience in automation framework or tools development.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Python.
- Strong understanding and experience with OOP concepts and multi-threading.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
