About this Key Leadership Role:

The Executive Housekeeper will oversee the housekeeping department, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify cleanliness and maintenance issues.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to meet hotel standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Effectively manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resources.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and guide housekeeping staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
