Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the retail business objectives and the staff-related challenges, creating strategic recommendations based on this understanding.

You will act as the main point of contact for our staffs and sales team, driving governance on human resource metrics such as staffing, retention, engagement & cost for the business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive governance on human resource metrics such as staffing, retention, engagement & cost for the business.
  2. Engage & work with regional managers/territory managers on recruitment, compensation, and employee relations.
  3. Operate independently & ensure employee satisfaction & development of the team.
  4. Train, mentor, and lead HR initiatives and best practices for the team.
  5. Directly interact with the store staffs, implement change initiatives related to culture, performance, recognition, and policies.
  6. Responsible for HR operations, induction, performance management, employee relations, and exit process.
  7. Catch up the individual managers on growing management/leadership capabilities.
  8. Own/drive HR policies and directives, ensuring smooth implementation across the organisation.
  9. Should be able to travel across the country for staff meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-6 years' experience in retail relationship management. Preferably from large format businesses.
  • Ability to manage big teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conversational Hindi and English proficiency.
