Key Finance and Accounting Position

We are looking for a highly skilled finance professional to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating annual budgets, building financial models, and monitoring targets against actual performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably with experience in the technology sector or startups. You will be required to publish regular management information systems (MIS) and dashboards for leadership, investors, and management.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Create annual budgets and build financial models.
  • Monitor targets and course corrections against plan vs. actual performance.
  • Publish regular management information systems (MIS) and dashboards for leadership, investors, and management.
  • Conduct deep revenue analytics and insights.
  • Perform periodic data reconciliation (internal vs. insurer data) and follow up with insurers and internal sales teams to close revenue gaps.
  • Analyze cost KPIs, monitor key metrics, bring insights, and control leakages.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and support metrics reporting for relevant processes.
  • Participate in projects on system automation for operational efficiency.

  • Strong data gathering and manipulation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with business leaders, influencing and persuading them.
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, agility, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills with editorial expertise.
  • Deep expertise in Excel, Google Spreadsheet, presentations, and models.
  • Prior experience in business-facing roles is an added advantage.
  • Strong experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
