Senior Investment Banking Professional

Seeking a seasoned professional in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial advisory to bring expertise in executing transactions across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, equity capital markets, or debt capital markets.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare deal collaterals such as teasers, client information memorandum, business plans, pitch decks, financial models, and other marketing materials for investors within prescribed timelines and to the required standards of quality and diligence.
- Engage with investors to showcase and explain deals, follow-ups, and respond to investor queries.
- Maintain constant coverage of designated sectors, staying up-to-date on trends in business models, financials, valuations, and transactions in the designated sector, with specific focus on buy-side research coverage on listed peers in the designated sector.
- Devise and conduct primary research methods while staying informed on market deals, trends, and sentiment.
- Identify promising startup opportunities for exploration.
- Lead end-to-end execution for transactions.
- Self-driven mindset with good communication skills.
- Strong market research skills and experience in conducting business due diligence.
- Financial modeling and valuation skills, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for building financial models and pitch decks.
- Corporate finance knowledge, including capital structure, cost of capital, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and debt/equity instruments.
- Industry research and analysis skills, including sector trends, competitive landscapes, and market sizing.
- Deal structuring and negotiation skills, including understanding deal terms, covenants, and transaction mechanics.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in numbers and legal language, clear verbal and written communication skills, time management, problem-solving, and adaptability.
- Postgraduate degree in finance/strategy from a top-tier institution.
- Chartered Accountant/USA CFA charter holders shall be an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager), or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Strong academic background with emphasis on corporate finance, accounting, and investment analysis.
