Job Opportunity: Dairy Operations Expert

We are establishing a new dairy processing center in Hyderabad and seek an experienced Dairy Operations SME to lead its establishment, commissioning, and smooth operation. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of dairy industry operations, plant setup, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on setting up the new dairy processing center – from plant design to commissioning.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Establish supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Offer expertise in ERP integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish key performance indicators and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between management, technical consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Dairy Processing, Operations, or Plant Management.
  • Proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
  • Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
