Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Animator I to join our team at Aristocrat Technologies India P/L. As a Sr Animator I, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations and visual effects for our gaming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and update character animation and FX animation for video-based gaming projects
* Collaborate with game designers, Art Directors, and production team members to understand needs and review scripts
* Create and edit animations, focusing on content implementation pipeline
* Listen to feedback and alter animations to suit game theme
* Use creativity and artistic techniques to tell a game feature or provide information in visual form
* Ensure relevant processes in regard to asset management, file organisation, output configuration are clearly and correctly executed
* Schedule and manage time efficiently, working with agile development leaders to plan work
* Deliver assets on time to specification with a thorough and complete attention to detail
* Responsible for having peer reviews to check work for accuracy and quality

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree/BFA/MFA or equivalent work experience in 2D/3D gaming, 2D/3D animation, particle simulation
* Work experience of 6-10 years in relevant field
* Strong knowledge of 2D, 3D graphics fundamentals, stop motion and computer-generated animation
* Proficient in CGI software (Adobe After Effects, Spine, Adobe Photoshop, 3DS Max, Maya & various AE plugins etc.)
* Ability to sketch or draw (digital or traditional) concepts and ideas, storyboarding is good to have
* Experience in using Assets control systems (Perforce) and Microsoft Office Suite will be a plus
* Prior experience in the gaming industry will be a plus
* A good eye for attention to detail and be willing to follow technical/compliance specifications, adaptability and receptiveness to feedback and direction
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with global stakeholders
* Ability to work independently or with a team to develop animations and solve problems
