This role involves the comprehensive analysis, design, and integrity management of complex facilities in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cost-effectiveness, and structural soundness of all civil and structural assets.

  • The engineer will perform advanced structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and steel structures, including pipe racks, platforms, foundations, and buildings.
  • Dynamic analysis of equipment foundations, fatigue, seismic, and blast-resistant design are key areas of expertise required for this role.
  • A deep understanding of international codes and standards, including API, AISC, Eurocodes, and relevant environmental regulations is critical to ensure compliance and mitigate high-risk scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and engineering: Lead the design and engineering aspects of projects from conceptual stages through detailed design and into execution.
  • Project management and coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of designs and manage project schedules, budgets, and change requests.
  • Structural integrity and maintenance: Conduct structural integrity assessments of existing facilities and develop and implement structural inspection and reliability programs.
  • Field and construction support: Provide on-site technical guidance, address construction queries, and evaluate change orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in a high-risk industry, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemicals, or energy.
  • Proven experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects, covering all project phases from FEED to commissioning.
