Job Title: Senior Software Quality Engineer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in automation testing, collaboration, and problem-solving. They will be responsible for ensuring high product quality, working closely with cross-functional teams to align on quality goals, identifying and covering edge cases early in the lifecycle, and improving CI/CD pipeline integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough automation testing to ensure high product quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and drive systemic improvements.
  • Identify and cover edge cases early in the lifecycle, ensuring robustness and reliability of software products.
  • Work with automation engineers to improve CI/CD pipeline integration, streamlining the development process.
  • Proactively identify quality risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent potential issues.
  • Lead root cause analyses of production issues and drive systematic improvements, enhancing overall software quality.
  • Report key quality metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into software performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement in QA processes and tools, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in automation (80-90% of day), with experience in Selenium/Playwright and Python/Java.
  • Strong background in Jenkins or other CI/CD tools, with experience in API Automation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
