Job Opportunity:

Azent Overseas Education is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Counsellor/Sr Counsellor to join our team.

  • Destination Knowledge: Have strong destination knowledge of Germany and other European countries, including their education systems, cultural nuances, and academic requirements.
  • Counselling Students: Guide students on overseas study options based on their academic background, goals, and interests. Provide information on universities, courses, admission requirements, and application processes.
  • Application Support: Assist students in preparing and reviewing application documents (forms, essays, SOPs, CVs, etc.). Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and meets the required standards.
  • Visa and Financial Planning: Counsel students on visa requirements, financial planning, and scholarship opportunities. Help students understand the costs associated with studying abroad and provide guidance on how to manage finances effectively.
  • Orientation Sessions: Conduct orientation sessions for students about living and studying abroad. Discuss topics such as culture shock, time management, and academic expectations.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with universities and academic institutions abroad. Foster partnerships that benefit both Azent Overseas Education and its clients.
  • Communication Skills: Handle student queries through calls, emails, and in-person meetings. Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries.
  • Record Keeping: Keep proper records of student applications and follow up until admission/visa completion. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
  • Marketing Support: Support marketing and promotional activities such as seminars, education fairs, and webinars. Assist in promoting Azent Overseas Education's services and reputation.

Requirements:

  • Strong destination knowledge of Germany and other European countries.
  • Excellent counselling and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
